Top up, spend, and budget with the Travelex Travel Money Card and App

Brief.

We were briefed by Travelex to help bring to life a video highlighting the benefits of the new Travelex Travel Money Card app.

This was the very first consumer facing video that the Travelex Creative Studio, Marketing and Product teams had produced together. They were looking for a partner too collaborate with and explore how Travelex, as a brand, can come to life in motion.

Creating content for the business that helped evolve and communicate their consumer proposition was something they were looking to start doing to help transform the business and reinvent travel money for their customers around the world.

Solution.

Working from the business brand guidelines, we looked at how the Travelex logo could be deconstructed to use the colours, angles and shapes to keep transitioning through a 90s explainer video, that felt fresh, simple but engaging and dynamic.

The brands strong colour palette allowed us to let the strong blue and red work well across the white background to deliver their clear messaging around each of the benefits of the new app. With this direction, we design and developed a storyboard which would have an easy flow in animation.

We also sourced the VO of Catherine Allison as a great voice to help identify a consistent and relatable tone for the brand.
